Spend time in the gym constantly and strictly follow the diet - it's all great, but for that we often have to limit myself in something. Improve your health is not difficult, and there is no challenge, but it really need to make small changes in their daily lives. All those little things that we do during the day may seem insignificant, but they all add up to a great result. Below is twenty-one way to improve their health every day.
1. Often go on foot.
If you sit in an office all day, get up and walk around as often as you can. See only that you are not fired for this. If most of the day, you're sitting at a desk or drive a car, take the right to make a little walk in the morning, evening or at lunch time for at least 20 minutes.
2. Go up the stairs on foot.
Your office on the second floor? Or may in the eighth? Go up the stairs to walk every day. Perhaps, up to the eighth floor walk, first you barely able to breathe. But after a year, you'll take off on the eighth floor, ahead of colleagues, who at this time up the elevator. Steps - a great way to painlessly add exercise into your day, even without visiting the gym next door.
3. Drink water.
You've heard it before, but it never loses relevance. Water works wonders. To stay healthy, you need to drink plenty of water daily. Try not replace healthy drinks in a glass of clean water when you feel thirsty. Carry a bottle of water wherever you go, and then you will have no reason not to take a drink.
4. Breakfast.
Yes, breakfast - truly the most important meal of the day. Even if you are not hungry, you should try to eat something. There is nothing useful out of food in the house? Eat something! Breakfast - is the meal when it is better not to eat anything useful than nothing at all. However, oatmeal with blueberries, raisins and bananas would be best. Bring an apple or an orange to work, to eat later after breakfast.
5. Stay in the sun.
The sun has all the healing properties. Yes, it can cause skin cancer, but I'm not saying that you should go out and sunbathe naked eight hours. Just go out to the street to catch a few sun rays during the lunch break. Spend a day on the street, for example, and take a walk in the woods on a known route.
6. To stretch every day.
Your muscles are like elastic cords. The less they are stretched, the harder and harder it becomes. Stretching improves blood flow and helps deliver nutrients to all parts of your body. Think of what is usually the position your body and pull in opposite directions. If you sit a lot, then get up and stretch your hands up over your head. Once you get out of bed, take a minimum of two minutes of stretching before heading into the shower. You do not have to practice yoga. Just stretch, to feel good.
7. Eat organic produce.
This seems self-evident, but it is absolutely vital to our health. Environmentally friendly products are useful. When we eat them, it makes our body healthy. It really is that simple. Environmentally friendly products are generally not processed or produced by mechanisms: fruits, vegetables, nuts, cereals. Try to develop a habit to eat one apple a day. Keep a bag of nuts and snacks in the car on the way home.
8. Follow posture.
Each has its own posture, but there is such a thing as "the correct posture." Evaluate your posture. Do you slouch? Whether you go with his head down? Imagine someone tied a string to your neck and pulls it (no, you are not going to hang up.) Do the same with your carriage allow your shoulders back, Slide the chest forward, pull the neck and breathe. Try to keep track of your posture throughout the day and corrects himself, as soon as the notice.
9. Change your habits are.
We all need to eat. By the time you become an adult, food becomes a habit. However, small changes in their usual daily food intake can have long-term consequences that affect your health. Usually you eat toast for breakfast? Try porridge with blueberries and bananas instead. Usually you drink coffee with cream and two portions of four lumps of sugar? Try with two portions of cream and a piece of sugar. Slowly change your eating habits in a healthier direction, and before you know it, you will feel much healthier.
10. Meditate.
This does not mean that you have to become a monk and to spend my life in the spiritual enlightenment. Gather ideas. Spend a couple of minutes to calm your mind. Breathe deeply and relax your entire body. You can try it in the morning (before stretching), or before going to bed. Even lunch is well suited.
11. Avoid eating too much sense.
The purpose of the meal should not eat to satiety. This is not a comfortable state, and it is harmful to health. If overeating - it's your usual sense, just try to eat slightly smaller portions. It is normal to feel a little hungry after the meal. You will not die. The worst that will happen - it's a slight feeling of hunger before the next meal. Science has proven that there are many benefits of eating fewer calories, so try not to overeat - it does not mean that you have to practice fasting.
12. Consider the physical inconvenience, like a mini-workout.
If you need to drag a heavy box into another room, consider it a mini-workout. If you can not find a place to park nearby and you have to walk longer than usual, consider it a mini-cardio workout. Many physical discomfort can be considered an opportunity to improve their health. Rather than complain think better, as it makes you stronger and healthier.
13. Get enough sleep.
Our body needs sleep to recover and recharge. If you save on sleep, your body will be more stressed out than it should be. Stress causes aging and chemical reactions that are harmful. Everyone has their own need for sleep, but you'll know when you get enough sleep. Go to bed a little earlier than usual. Try not to drink beverages containing caffeine for at least 5 hours before bedtime. Also, drinking large amounts of food and prevent you from watching TV to fall asleep quickly. Regular physical exercise can help to fall asleep earlier.
14. Go barefoot.
Your feet contain many nerve points associated with different parts of your body. Walking barefoot stimulates these points and improves circulation throughout the body. If you usually spend the day wearing shoes, try to walk barefoot. If possible, go to the office only in socks (just make sure they do not smell). The next time when you go to take out the garbage, do it barefoot. Take your time, your feet may be over-sensitive because of a comfortable life in the shoe.
15. Try something that's never tried before.
Our body and brain needs stimulation to stay healthy. If you're doing the same thing every day, or you may run the same set of actions for each output, you are seriously limiting their growth. Sign up for the martial arts. Visit a yoga workout. Try cross-country running. Rent a mountain bike and explore the famous trails in the woods with a new perspective. Listen to some new direction in music. Read a different type of book. Examine that the street where you go every day, but have no idea where it leads.
16. Often move.
Objects in motion remain in motion at all times. If you want to be healthy, you need to move, both physically and mentally. Try to be as active (again, both physically and mentally). Try not to sit in one place for more than one hour. Get up, walk around, stretch, squat, jump, do whatever you want. Think about the activity, how about life, and inactivity, as progressive death (again, both physically and mentally).
17. Do something relaxing.
Set aside time to rest as often as possible. This could mean anything: spending quality time with family, read a book by the sea, go hiking for the weekend, or just sit in the fresh air, enjoying the moment. You should make time to relax every day, but even if the entire week of classes, the stress can be removed in a few hours on the weekend, doing something that relaxes you.
18. Breathe deeply.
Deep breath to supply enough oxygen to the body, calms the muscles and relieves stress. This is what you can do anytime, anywhere. During the day, try to take a deep breath, as soon as you feel the first signs of fatigue. Fight stress with oxygen!
19. Laugh often.
As well as a deep breath, laugh - a great fighter with stress. Science has proven that laughter can even potentially physically heal the body. This is a pure expression of joy and happiness. Even if you have no one to laugh, try it yourself. This is great!
20. Watch the children play.
Watching the children play, reminds us that like to live without anxiety and stress, to live happily and enjoying the moment. Inside all of us have a child who will never die, and watching the children playing, we let our inner child emerge. This allows us to rediscover the joy and beauty of every moment of life.
21. Think about the future.
The reason that we want to be healthy, that we want to live without the discomfort and pain. If we think in short term, we do not see that value for which you want to improve the health of today. Ask yourself what you will think tomorrow, or a year of you today. Will that person look back with pride and admiration for the efforts that you put in order to be healthy? The future starts today.
As you can see, there are many ways every day to improve our health, but one reading about them is not enough. Choose a few of these items, whether it is one or twenty-one, and follow them in our daily lives.
